Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen is the first depot in the world to offer access to an entire museum collection. The depot is located next to Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Museumpark in Rotterdam. The dynamics of the depot are different from those of the museum: no exhibitions are held here, but you can wander through the building - independently or with a guide - surrounded by more than 151,000 art objects arranged and structured in fourteen depot rooms with five climates. You can also watch, for instance, conservation and restoration.

The building is unique in Rotterdam and reflects the city in its mirrored exterior so definitely worth a visit. The location is easily accessible. From the hotel it is a 15-minute walk and by metro from Beurs to Eendrachtsplein (line A, B, or C) 11 minutes.
