"Rotterdam is a vibe. It is such a diverse place and vibrant city that it doesn't matter what mood you are in. In Rotterdam, there is always something to suit your vibe.

What is your favourite hotspot?
My favourite Hotspot in Rotterdam is the Witte de Withstraat, this is one long street full of nice cafés. If you are looking for something alternative or just a brown pub, this is the place to be. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, it is incredibly busy, but also very cosy!

For a fun night out with friends, where do you go like this?
For a fun night out with friends, I often go to the Oude Haven, here there are several cafes, where I can order my favourite drinks. But what I personally find special is the location, the venue is ideal for a quiet and cosy evening with friends.

In a busy city like Rotterdam, is there a place for you in the city where you can retreat completely?
Yes definitely, when I don't feel like the hustle and bustle of the city, I often seek out the river (the Maas). This is because I totally unwind watching the boats and hearing the waves. I often do this at Maasboulevard or at Leuvehaven.

What do you think is the best thing to do in Rotterdam (activity)?
I am not really a nightlife person myself. If I want to have some fun with my friends, I often go to Holland Casino. I like a challenge, the game and gambling, in moderation of course.
