Describe Rotterdam in a sentence?
Rotterdam is the liveliest city in the Netherlands. There is always and everywhere something to do. Discover what this beautiful city has to offer.

What is your favourite hotspot?
My favourite hotspot is 1Nul8. Here you can eat the most delicious dishes and have drinks while enjoying good music. It often turns into a cosy party here later in the evening. The restaurant is located in the street the Meent surrounded by many other cosy restaurants.

1NUL8

On one of the most popular streets in Rotterdam, the Meent, you will find 1NUL8, a café, restaurant and wine/cocktail bar in one. The name refers to the location of the building, which is Meent 108. The business opened as a real wine bar, but five years and two renovations later, the term 'wine bar' alone is not enough. With a terrace on the Meent and the Rodezand you can enjoy the tastiest drinks and dishes with us all day long.

A bite to eat together with the family, what would you definitely recommend?
For a nice dinner with my family, I always like to go to YOLO restaurant and bar. Here they have delicious dishes and the best cocktails! In the evening, I always like to go to the Witte de With street. In this street you have the cosiest restaurants and bars. This street always turns into a cosy party at night.

What is your favourite place to shop?
For a fun day of shopping, the Koopgoot and Lijnbaan are my favourite places to go. Here you have all the big chain shops like H&M and Zara. My favourite restaurant for lunch is Giuliano's. Here you have the most delicious sandwiches. The menu is also very varied.

From where do you have the most extraordinary view of Rotterdam, and how do you get there?
My favourite place to enjoy Rotterdam's beautiful skyline is the Euromast. Here you have a beautiful panoramic view of Rotterdam city centre. They also have options to have a nice dinner or lunch here.

What do you think is the best thing to do in Rotterdam (activity)?
My favourite activity in the centre of Rotterdam is going to the movies. At Schouwburgplein we have a wonderful cinema. Here you can really retreat from all the hustle and bustle while enjoying a good film.

Euromast

The most beautiful view of Rotterdam Visiting Rotterdam? Then you should not skip the Euromast. From a great height you see the city in a unique perspective. Enjoy the best view of Rotterdam at a height of 100 meters. Not high enough? Take the colorful Euroscoop to the top and see the city from 185 meters high with a light and sound show. For the real daredevil, you can abseil from the Euromast every weekend from May to September. Also download the Magnicity app and collect information about more than 50 special Rotterdam buildings through your screen. Through VR technology you can see what the city looked like after the bombing in 1940.
